Can't record audio

I've been using BM since BM1, but only recently began trying to record audio into BM2. However, I can't seem to record anything in. I've tried recording via an iTrack, and also through the iPad's built-in mic. Here's my steps:

1) Create audio track
2) Click on Audio, choose input - Input 1 (Mono) for the built-in mic, or Input 2 for the iTrack
3) Arm the track in the sequence window (the red dot)
4) Record

BM2 records, and I get a sequence chunk showing, but it's empty with no audio. I've gone over this issue with friends who use BM2, and none of us can figure it out. My iPad's built-in mic works - I can record audio with other apps - but I can't get any audio into BM2.

Suggestions?

    Your beatmaker2 has lost its permission to use the mic...it was a little box that came up at one time asking if it was ok for bm2 to use the mic...and it probably got a NO...it's fixable hold on

    Try this bro, go into ipad settings...scroll down to beatmaker2 select it...on the right second option down allow beatmaker to use mic ...click this to on. Hope that helps
