Problem with touching buttons on iPhone 6s Plus?

I've started to use iPhone6s Plus.
Somehow, these three buttons like "RecArm", "Mute", "+" don't work quite often. I tap it and nothing happens.
Any buttons other than them work properly just like when I used to use iPhone 5s.
If I keep on tapping, it works.

Anyone got a same situation?
Or does anyone find the solution??

  • yes me, but on the iPad Air2. Didn't have those problems on the iPad 2 but now, VERY often.

    Especially the mute is annoying. No way in a live situation now!

    Having the same problems with the buttons on iPhone 6s! :-(
    Is this a problem caused by Apple as it works fine on my old phone?
    Let's hope the ski season finishes soon so that BM3 will get some love! :-)

    So this seems a little bug.
    I just have a thought that this is from 3D Touch.
    I can't explain why it doesn't happen with other buttons, though.
    Anyway, for me, soft and momentary tap works.
    When I try that way, I make it within 3 or 4 taps.

    ^^ seems like a hardware problem, so an iOS update won't help.

    To my observations, it seems the touch pixels (resolution of the capacitive touch) don't really match the visible display pixels in newer devices. So, you can touch it, but...
    active areas, though well to see are hard to touch.

    So @intua:
    Please increase the size of the touch sensible area for those buttons - even if it overlays the text area above (which has anyways no function when touched).

    And something more @intua:

    would be nice if you, at least from time to time, would light up here. Given, that discussions made here from hardcore users are surely a good inspriration for your further works, should be worth enough giving feedback and keeping us up to date of your thoughts about topics discussed here.

    That makes sense.
    So Stylus or something may be useful, though I don't have it and won't use it.
    Yup, I'll wait for the next update and the BeatMaker3.

    i got same situation as below
    when beatmaker2 on audio track
    with the iphone 6s plus

    >these three buttons like "RecArm", "Mute", "+" don't work

    then tested as 3 devices

    iphone 4s / ios 7.1.2 -> OK
    ipad mini4 / ios 9.1 -> OK
    iphone 6s plus / ios 9.2 -> NG, 3D touch ON/OFF both are NG

    import sample on audio track is my core

    fix it please if you can

    here's one more info.

    i guess set start play point manually on audio track doesnt work

    i can set loop point when touch n slide above phrase number

    but touch for set start play point (not loop set) then happened nothing

    can u check it with when testing ?

    I'm not sure I understand your problem. Have you tried setting the sample start/end markers ?

    Double-click the audio clip on the sequencer to bring the bounds editor.
    Proceed into setting the sample start/stop markers, then close the editor with the X on the top left. You audio clip show now start from where you set the start marker.

    -> happened nothing ( unable to set vertical line like a red circle area (2) )


    [ 2 ] - unable to open wave editor

    (3) tap wave sample like a green area and then tap again
    -> happened nothing ( unable to open the wave editor )


    i confirmed [ 1 ] and [ 2 ] both are OK with ipad mini4 / iOS 9.1

    ( moving start point )

    NG case ( iphone 6s plus )
    for example, tap number 4 in upper area ( blue circle area )
    then the white vertical line is NOT moving to under 4
    ( happened nothing )

    A bug related to audio recordings has been found, hence the delay.

    then checked 3 problems as 6s plus
    (3 buttons / moving start point / open wave editor)

    i got works all fine
