It's true not all app developers coded for Virtual MIDI and/or IAA. The apps that were coded properly for Virtual MIDI and IAA Generator and IAA Instrument work well with BM2.
Right now BM2 expects IAA apps to have a virtual midi input, but it's possible to improve compatibility for apps built without it. IAA apps have their own MIDI endpoints but BM2 doesn't use them as of now.
BeatMaker 3 already supports that, but that's another story :-)
