**How can I withdraw money from Coinbase
**To withdraw funds from Coinbase, sell your cryptocurrency for cash, then navigate to your cash balance, select "Withdraw" (or "Cash Out"), enter the amount, and choose your linked bank account or debit card. Instant withdrawals to a debit card are available, while ACH bank transfers typically take 1–5 business days.

**Steps to Withdraw Cash (USD/Fiat) to Bank
**• Sell Crypto: If you hold only cryptocurrency, you must first sell it for your local currency (e.g., USD) to create a cash balance.
• Navigate to Cash Out: On the Coinbase app, select Cash on the home screen, then Withdraw. On desktop, go to your Portfolio/Assets and select the cash wallet (e.g., USD).
• Enter Amount & Destination: Enter the amount you wish to withdraw and select your linked bank account or debit card.
• Review and Confirm: Check the fees (standard ACH is free, instant/debit is not) and speed, then click Withdraw Now.
• Verification: Complete the 2-step verification if prompted.

**Important Information
**• Withdrawal Methods: Bank Account (ACH), Wire Transfer, and Debit Card (Instant).
• Fees: Standard ACH transfers are typically free, while instant transfers to a debit card incur fees.
• Timing: ACH transfers take 1-5 business days.
• Limitations: You cannot withdraw funds that are still settling from a recent deposit or if you have just purchased crypto (must wait for settlement).

Withdrawing Cryptocurrency
If you wish to withdraw cryptocurrency to an external wallet (not cash), select the specific crypto asset in your portfolio, select "Withdraw," and enter the external wallet address, ensuring the network is compatible.

How to cash out on Coinbase wallet
To withdraw money from the Coinbase Wallet app (non-custodial) to a bank, you must first send your crypto assets to a centralized exchange (like Coinbase.com), swap them for cash, and then withdraw to a bank. Alternatively, use the built-in "Cash out" feature within the Wallet app, which utilizes third-party providers like Alchemy Pay to directly sell crypto.

**Steps to Withdraw from Coinbase Wallet (Self-Custody App):
**• Transfer to Exchange: Open your Coinbase Wallet, tap "Send," select your asset, and enter the address of your Coinbase.com account (or another exchange).
• Pay Gas Fees: You will need native network tokens (e.g., ETH for Ethereum, SOL for Solana) to pay for this transaction.
• Sell for Fiat: Once the funds arrive on Coinbase.com, navigate to your portfolio, select the asset, and "Sell" it to your local currency (e.g., USD) balance.
• Withdraw to Bank: In the Coinbase.com app, go to your Cash balance, select "Withdraw," choose your linked bank account, and confirm.

**Steps to Withdraw from Coinbase.com (Centralized Account):
**• Navigate to the "Portfolio" or "Assets" tab and select your cash balance.
• Select "Withdraw Cash" or "Cash Out".
• Enter the amount and select the linked bank account (ACH, SEPA, etc.).
• Review the transaction fee and, if applicable, select an "Instant" transfer, then confirm the withdrawal.

**How to transfer money from Coinbase to bank
**To withdraw money from Coinbase to your bank account, sell your cryptocurrency for cash, then navigate to the "Transfer" or "Cash Out" option, select your linked bank account, and confirm the transaction. ACH transfers typically take 1–3 business days, while instant transfers to debit cards are available.

**Steps to Withdraw Funds (App/Web):
**1. Sell Crypto: If needed, sell your crypto for USD (or your local currency) to ensure you have an available cash balance.
2. Navigate to Cash Out:
• On the App: Click the "Transfer" arrows ↦ "Cash Out".
• On the Web: Go to "Home" ↦ "Withdraw Cash".
3. Enter Amount: Choose the amount to transfer.
4. Select Destination: Choose your linked bank account (ACH) or debit card.
5. Review and Confirm: Review the fee (free for standard ACH) and delivery time, then select "Withdraw Now".

Key Details:
• Timeframe: 1–3 business days for ACH; instantaneous for debit cards.
• Fees: Standard ACH is usually free; instant transfers may incur fees.
• Limits: There is a $100,000 per transaction limit for instant cashouts.
• Verification: Ensure your bank account is verified to avoid delays.

Understanding how and when to access retirement savings is essential for effective financial planning. Fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals offer two distinct ways to use funds from a workplace retirement account, each with specific rules, benefits, and long-term implications.

Understanding Fidelity 401(k) Accounts

A 401(k) plan administered by Fidelity is designed to help employees build retirement savings through tax-advantaged contributions and long-term investment growth. While these funds are intended for retirement, certain circumstances allow account holders to access money earlier through loans or withdrawals. Knowing the difference between these options is critical when evaluating fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals.

What Are Fidelity 401(k) Loans?

A 401(k) loan allows eligible participants to borrow money from their own retirement balance and repay it over time. With fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals, loans are governed by federal regulations and employer-specific plan rules.

Key Features of Fidelity 401(k) Loans

Borrow up to the lesser of $50,000 or 50% of vested balance

Fixed interest rates, often tied to the prime rate

Repayment through automatic payroll deductions

Interest paid back into your own account

These features make loans a structured way to access funds without permanently removing them from the retirement plan.

Eligibility Requirements for Fidelity 401(k) Loans

Eligibility for loans depends on the employer’s plan design. Typically, participants must:

Be actively employed

Have sufficient vested funds

Comply with loan frequency and balance limits

Reviewing the Summary Plan Description ensures clarity before initiating a loan under fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals.

What Are Fidelity 401(k) Withdrawals?

Withdrawals permanently remove funds from a 401(k) account. Unlike loans, withdrawals do not require repayment and may trigger taxes and penalties. When considering fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals, understanding withdrawal types is essential.

Common Types of Fidelity 401(k) Withdrawals

Hardship withdrawals for qualifying financial needs

In-service withdrawals allowed under specific plan rules

Early withdrawals before age 59½

Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) after reaching the applicable age

Each withdrawal type has unique eligibility and tax implications.

Tax Implications of Fidelity 401k Loans and Withdrawals

Tax treatment is one of the biggest differences between loans and withdrawals.

Loan Tax Treatment

Not taxable if repaid as agreed

No early withdrawal penalty

Defaulted loans may become taxable distributions

Withdrawal Tax Treatment

Subject to ordinary income tax

Early withdrawals may incur a 10% penalty

Some hardship withdrawals still trigger taxes

Understanding these differences helps reduce unnecessary tax exposure when using fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals.

Advantages of Fidelity 401(k) Loans

Many participants prefer loans because they:

Avoid immediate taxation

Do not affect credit scores

Offer predictable repayment schedules

Allow interest payments to return to the account

For short-term needs, loans can be a controlled option within fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals.

Risks and Drawbacks to Consider

Both loans and withdrawals have potential downsides:

Reduced investment growth during loan periods

Repayment acceleration if employment ends

Permanent loss of retirement funds with withdrawals

Possible long-term impact on retirement readiness

Evaluating these risks is essential before using fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals.

How to Request Fidelity 401k Loans and Withdrawals

The process generally includes:

Logging into your Fidelity account

Reviewing available loan or withdrawal options

Confirming eligibility and tax implications

Submitting the request online

Fidelity provides tools and disclosures to help participants understand their choices before finalizing a transaction.

Choosing Between a Loan and a Withdrawal

Selecting between loans and withdrawals depends on financial goals, urgency, and long-term planning. Fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals serve different purposes—loans offer temporary access with repayment, while withdrawals provide permanent funds with tax consequences.

Best Practices for Managing Retirement Fund Access

To protect long-term financial security:

Use loans for short-term needs only

Avoid withdrawals unless absolutely necessary

Continue contributing when possible

Review plan rules regularly

These strategies help ensure fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals are used responsibly.

Conclusion

Fidelity 401k loans and withdrawals provide flexibility during financial challenges, but they require careful consideration. Understanding eligibility, tax impact, and long-term consequences allows individuals to make informed decisions while preserving retirement goals. Thoughtful planning ensures that accessing retirement funds today does not compromise financial stability in the future.

Venmo and PayPal are both widely trusted platforms for digital payments. However, transferring money from Venmo to PayPal directly is not as straightforward as it might seem, even though Venmo is owned by PayPal. Below, we explain the most reliable methods to send money from Venmo to PayPal, covering all viable workarounds, and we also provide answers to the most frequently asked questions on this topic.

Can You Transfer Money from Venmo to PayPal Directly?
No, you cannot transfer money from Venmo to PayPal directly using the apps alone. Even though Venmo by PayPal is a subsidiary, the platforms operate independently with different systems. But there are indirect methods that allow you to transfer money from Venmo to PayPal with a few extra steps.

How to Send Money from Venmo to PayPal (Step-by-Step Guide)
Here’s how to send from Venmo to PayPal using a connected bank account as a bridge.
Step 1: Link the Same Bank Account to Both Venmo and PayPal
1. Open the Venmo app, go to “Settings” > “Payment Methods,” and add your bank account.
2. Do the same in the PayPal app: Go to “Wallet” > “Link a bank,” and add the same bank account you linked in Venmo.
This is the key step in connecting Venmo to PayPal indirectly.
Step 2: Transfer Funds from Venmo to Your Bank
1. In the Venmo app, tap “Transfer Money.”
2. Choose the amount and select the bank account.
3. Pick between Instant Transfer (with a small fee) or 1–3 business days (free).
4. Confirm the transaction.
This step is essentially Venmo to transfer money to your bank.
Step 3: Add the Funds from Bank to PayPal
1. Log into your PayPal account.
2. Go to “Wallet” and select “Add Money”.
3. Choose your linked bank account and enter the amount.
4. Confirm to initiate the transfer (usually takes 1–3 business days).
That’s how you can send Venmo money to PayPal, even if not directly.

**Can You Send Money from PayPal to Venmo?
**Just like in reverse, there’s no direct PayPal to Venmo transfer option inside either app. However, you can still send PayPal to Venmo using the same method mentioned above—by using your bank account.
Here’s how to send money PayPal to Venmo:
1. Transfer money from PayPal to your linked bank account.
2. Once the funds appear in your bank, open Venmo.
3. Tap “Add Money” and select your linked bank.
4. Enter the amount and complete the transfer.
So yes, you can send money from PayPal to Venmo, just not instantly or directly.

Alternative Method: Use a Debit Card Linked to Both Apps
Another workaround is using a debit card linked to both apps:
• Link your debit card to Venmo.
• Link the same card to PayPal.
• Use this shared card to transfer balances or make purchases on either app.
This doesn’t move funds between the platforms but gives you access to the same funds on both.

**Venmo to Apple Pay: Is It Possible?
**You can’t directly send Venmo to Apple Pay, but you can transfer your Venmo balance to a bank account and then load that bank account to Apple Pay. This indirect method is the best current solution to transfer Venmo to Apple Pay.

**Benefits of Connecting PayPal to Venmo
**Even though connecting PayPal to Venmo directly isn’t supported within the apps, linking them via a shared bank account or card allows:
• Cross-platform flexibility
• Seamless fund access
• Easier management of personal and business finances
This setup essentially makes connecting Venmo to PayPal possible without a native integration.

**Why Is There No Direct Integration?
**Even though Venmo is owned by PayPal, they serve different user bases—Venmo is for peer-to-peer payments and social features, while PayPal focuses more on business and e-commerce. This is why PayPal doesn’t allow direct send money to Venmo and vice versa.

I have been able to use other drum apps inside BM3, and Funk Drummer see’s my launchkey’s pads as triggers, and starts and stops playing when using Audiobus and GarageBand.

What is the big mystery between these 2 apps? It must be on the BM3 side as other sound modules work without any fuss. I have done all for he obvious midi settings. Channel 10, note mapping, etc...

Hi All,

I recently purchased D1 Digital Synth by Audiokit Pro. It’s a great app, and a source for a lot of inspiring sounds. Unfortunately, when I try and record anything in BM3, the sounds quickly change tempo, synch, and general behaviour changes. This happens whenever the Play or Record buttons are pressed. I have no idea how to fix this issue. The issue is non existent when you’re just messing around and testing patches without playing against a metronome or recording.

I tried reinstalling the app but that didn’t work. The IAA also doesn’t work and gives me an error message every single time I try and load up an instance.

Any help here would be appreciated. I really want this app to work!

Does anybody know of a way to set the polyphony of individual AUs (tracks), as opposed to the polyphony of a sampled (internal) pad (pad in the BM3 on-screen button sense)?

I have 2 tracks with AUs to act as layering on input MIDI channel 1, and 1 track with an AU on input MIDI channel 10. The input is from external USB MIDI for all of these tracks.

I can play on channel 1 just fine (one layer is KQ Dixie with a transient patch, the other is Lorentz, which has a pad/drone type of patch). However, when I start playing the drums into channel 10 (a drum kit on bs-16i), the drum track very quickly steals notes away from my "drone" and cause it to drop out.

I would like to limit polyphony on the drums to perhaps 2 or 3 notes, so priority goes to my drone/pad track. Any ideas? Or is total vs per-track polyphony not even the issue???

Footnote: it's unfortunate that the word "pad" in this discussion can mean either of two things: a slow/sustained patch vs a button on the screen :-(
