Receiving a payment decline message can be frustrating, especially when you need to complete a transaction quickly. If you've encountered a message such as "****Payment declined, there was an issue with your payment, try again later****," there could be several reasons behind it. This article explores common causes and solutions to help you resolve payment issues effectively.

1. Insufficient Funds in Your Account

One of the most common reasons for a declined payment is insufficient funds in your bank account or payment method linked to Venmo. If your balance is too low, your transaction may not go through.

How to Fix:

Ensure your Venmo balance has enough funds.

If using a bank account or card, check your available balance before retrying the payment.

2. Security Flags and Fraud Protection Measures

Venmo and banks implement security protocols to detect suspicious activity. If your transaction triggers a security flag, it may be declined as a precaution.

How to Fix:

Use a trusted device and location to complete the transaction.

Verify your identity in the Venmo app.

Try a smaller transaction amount to see if it goes through.

3. Issues With the Payment Method

If your payment method, such as a debit card or credit card, encounters an issue, you may see an error like "****Venmo transaction declined, please try again in a short while****." This could be due to temporary card restrictions or technical problems.

How to Fix:

Use a different payment method, such as another bank account or card.

Contact your bank to check for any temporary restrictions.

4. Venmo System Errors or Server Downtime

Sometimes, Venmo itself may be experiencing technical difficulties, leading to failed transactions and messages like "****Venmo transaction declined, try again later****."

How to Fix:

Check Venmo’s status page to see if there are any ongoing issues.

Wait for a few minutes and retry the transaction.

5. Incompatible or Restricted Payment Cards

Certain cards, such as prepaid and gift cards, may not always work with Venmo. If you see an error indicating "****Visa gift card Venmo declined****" or "****Venmo prepaid card declined,****" your card might not be supported.

How to Fix:

Use a different payment method, such as a linked bank account or an eligible debit card.

Ensure your prepaid or gift card has sufficient balance and is activated for online transactions.

6. Venmo Credit Card Issues

If you're using a Venmo credit card and receive an error like "****Venmo credit card denied****" or "****Venmo credit card declined****," there might be a problem with your card issuer or transaction settings.

How to Fix:

Check if your credit card has reached its limit.

Contact your credit card issuer to ensure there are no blocks on online transactions.

Try using another payment method.

Conclusion

If you're facing payment decline issues on Venmo, it’s essential to identify the root cause. Insufficient funds, security flags, card restrictions, or Venmo system errors are common reasons. By troubleshooting the problem with the solutions provided above, you can resolve payment failures and complete your transactions successfully.

FAQs

1. Why does Venmo keep declining my transaction?

Your transaction may be declined due to insufficient funds, security issues, or payment method restrictions. Check your balance and try again.

2. Can I use a prepaid or gift card on Venmo?

Yes, but not all prepaid or gift cards work with Venmo. If your Visa gift card Venmo declined, try another payment method.

3. What should I do if my Venmo credit card is declined?

If your Venmo credit card declined, ensure you haven’t exceeded your credit limit and contact your card issuer for assistance.

4. How long should I wait before retrying a declined transaction?

If your Venmo transaction declined, try again later, wait a few minutes before retrying. If the issue persists, check for bank or Venmo system errors.

5. Can Venmo decline a transaction for security reasons?

Yes, Venmo may decline transactions flagged as suspicious. Ensure you are using a trusted device and verify your identity in the app.

AKAI APC40 MK1 V1.3

TEMPLATE TYPE: Session & Banks, Focus Actions
CONTROLLER REQUIREMENTS:
- Power Supply
- Lightning to USB 3.0 adapter or USB-C hub (newer iPad Pros)
- USB Cable
- Footswitches(Optional)
- Passive or powered usb hub (optional)
- If not using a powered hub, passthrough power to iPad is required.
TEMPLATE REQUIREMENTS: NONE

TEMPLATE DOWNLOAD LINK:

APC40_13.zip

V1.3 NOTES:

New 16 Pad Device Layout (Default)
Streamlined and more useful, so you can perform on iPad simultaneously or integrate other external controllers.
You can still use 64 pad device layout, will just require special included focus actions. For the new 16 pad default layout, use the two focus actions provided.

4 MIDI-MAPS (Focus Actions)
16_UF_APC40.bma

16 Pads Device UNFOCUSED. Unfocused just means the APC40 (having 9 seperate channels) allows for triggering clip launch pads or other specific pads regardless of whichever bank you have in focus. This allows recording or performance of multiple banks simultaneously. With this particular template and the APC40, you have access to 8 x 8 buttons/banks totally 64 possible unfocused triggers of loops, samples, plugins, etc. Helper lights, and foot switches are unavailable in this focus action, but an additional pad has been gained allowing you to trigger something else.

16_UF_TB_APC40.bma

16 Pads Device UNFOCUSED with a trigger bar to play the pads horizontally. Same as above, except helper lights and foot switches are available. Also, what I call the “trigger bar” (Clip Stop section) allows you to trigger the template pads horizontally in a focused bank and still trigger all pads unfocused simultaneously. For example, this is useful as a comfortable hand position and to create double hits quickly between any two pads.

64_UF_APC40.bma

All footswitches and helper features are available. Everything is unfocused. No trigger bar.

64_UF_TB_APC40.bma

All footswitches and helper features are available. Trigger bar overrides MIDIFX trigger.

Responsive Light Data Feedback:
Now baked in to the template pads. No special programming needed. When you record from your APC40 or on-screen of iPad, light output data is captured. A LIGHTS_CTRL bank is still available if you’d like to play with the lights but is no longer needed.

Metronomes Bank
A custom metronome bank that provides access to a visual metronome on the APC40, a custom metronome, and different pulses. Useful for live performance. Macros are TUNE and VOLUME of the single provided metronome for tweaking its sound.

Volume Bus Group (Macro 16) The Fade, Kill, Mix Tool
All template pads have their volumes mapped to one macro. This is a Volume Bus Group emulation. You can automate this and set custom volumes to the template pads and/or add your own pads to it! Using pre-sends and assigning Send 8 to the same macro, you’ve magically created an auxiliary bus that sends any pads as a group to that aux bus. NOTE: The FKM bus is disabled by default. Unmap the macro on that bus and unmute if you want to use it.

Complete Other Host / Plugin Functionality / No Enforcement

No more forced macros to any knob on the APC40 or assignments to track/effects banks except two. Bank Lockout ON/OFF and the Volume Bus Group (Macro 16) uses Master Fader.

With the latest update allowing HOST sync, plus with all the apps/plugins available that use MIDI, you now have 72+ knobs to map to whatever you like.

Fully supported BM3 & AUM integration.
With a little setup, you can control BM3 and AUM simultaneously in various ways and even restore the original purpose of Record Arm, Solo, and Mute if you like. Plugins can also be hosted in AUM and BM3 simultaneously. The track volume faders of your APC40 will automatically be mapped to 8 channels. Then you just set up AUM’s IAA channels in each bank of the template in BM3 on any pad you like. Perfect!

Recovery Banks
I’ve included all the banks for the template so you are able to recover anything easily. You can also use these to build out your own custom sessions if you like.

AKAI MPK MINI MK2 V1.0

TEMPLATE TYPE: Session & Banks, Focus Actions, Other
CONTROLLER REQUIREMENTS:
- Lightning to USB 3.0 adapter or USB-C hub (newer iPad Pros)
- USB Cable
- Sustain Pedal (Optional)
- Passive or powered usb hub (optional)
- If not using a powered hub, passthrough power to iPad is required.

TEMPLATE REQUIREMENTS: MPK Editor Presets

MPK MINI MK2 EDITOR PRESETS:

WARNING: These will overwrite what is stored in the RAM of your controller. Akai doesn’t provide backup presets. It is probably a good idea to backup the defaults of your controller or your own custom configuration in the MPK Editor.

PRESET/TEMPLATE OVERVIEW:

Once you load the presets to your controller using the editor, you do not have to use my template unless you want to. These simply extend the functionality of your controller on iDevices with all hosts/apps!

2OVER4v1_0
- The MPK mini will have 2 instruments over each program 1-4 for a total of 8 controllable instruments. Two unfocused at one time in BM3!

The drum pads and keys are seperated by channels giving a total of 4 seperate pad banks AND 4 seperate keys/pads banks. Use PROG SELECT and PAD 5-8 to change instrument groups. Each program is unfocused meaning you can play the pads and keys separately without any particular bank in focus.

JOYSTICK mapped vertically to PITCH, and left horizontal is MOD wheel.

ARP OFF/ON and NOTE REPEAT are set to the external clock so you can have the arpeggiator and note repeats follow Beatmaker 3’s clock. Works great too! They are turned off by default.

If using the template with this controller preset, and the included focus action...Bank CC Pad 1 and 2 will switch between the two banks of the program you have selected. Pad 3 is an extra momentary repeat for whichever program you are in. This is all useful if touching the iPad simultaneously with the MPK mini.
.
.

BM3 STEP SEQUENCERS V1.1 (Full & Lite)

Turn Beatmaker 3 into a unique and experimental 64-Step Sequencer! Runs with 8 banks. Each bank is considered a “Set of Steps”. Each row in a bank is called a “Chain”. There are 8 chains in each bank.

Free-Running, Recording Free:
No recording is necessary unless you need to automate something! Load samples using different load methods (load existing/new recommended) and press play! Alternatively, to save resources you can link pads in each bank chain as long as one sample is provided in that bank chain.

Custom/Preset Sequencers:
Trigger different sequencers using Scenes mode! 1/16 step speed is the default. This creates a 4 bar loop. Half-time is 8 bars. You can also make your own custom sequencers using the provided patterns in each bank! Change sequencer behavior! Reverse, invert, loop, half-time, etc...When you have a sequence you like, you can quickly paste that into the song on the Scenes tab.

MSV Chains (Mute, Solo, Volume Macros):
Every pad in every bank has painstakingly been mapped to have Mute, Solo, or Volume control per bank chain. Volume is the default behavior. This allows you to automate these parameters or create complex mute chains changing the behavior of the sequencers. You can also add your own effects per pad to these macros if you wish or macros 9-16. There is literally no limit to the creative potential here! These can even be copy/pasted to other projects and renamed so you don’t have to map them again! NOTE: If you use load method, “replace sample..”, that pad will be removed from a MSV macro chain. but will still play fine in the step-sequencer. You do not have to use the macros if you don’t want to.

Recovery Banks & Midi Files:
I’ve included everything you need to recover the sequencer if something gets messed up. Alternatively, they can be used in your own projects.

Auto-Follow BANKS A-H:
You can set up a MIDI effect in AUM mapped to Banks A-H Focus Actions In BM3 for Auto Follow of banks for the sequencer. I might just provide an AUM template to this as currently it can’t be done in BM3 alone.

FRACTAL BITS MACHINE V1.0

Because one instance of this AU isn’t enough!

Multi-Instance/16 Macros:
4 instances of Fractal Bits and 16 macros! Each Fractal Bit instance has its VOLUME, TRANSPOSE, OVERDRIVE, and LO-FI mapped to a macro. Extremely fun with X/Y pads!

Fractal Trigger/Keys:
Each Fractal Bit instance is linked to all 12 triggers. These are the same pads inside a Fractal Bit instance. The only difference being is you can use KEYS mode to play Fractals outside its own 3 octave limit. You can combine your own samples with new/existing layer to these triggers for combined pitch use AND/OR unlink a trigger to only play your sample’s sound.

Element of Surprise / Randomization:
Each Fractal Bit instance is silenced at startup. This brings an element of surprise to starting. Simply go into each Fractal Bit instance (with the keyboard/plugin view and Pads 13-16) and randomize. Then turn up the volume on one or all Fractal Bits in the macros panel. You can also change these in real-time of your recorded patterns!

MISCELLANEOUS UTILITIES:

EMPTY RIFF WAV FIle

Produces no sound and is for templating pads for anything in Beatmaker 3 including MIDI setup. Throw this on a pad and assign any macros/modulations/effects. This way you can copy/paste this in projects, load a sample using existing/new layer and that sample inherits any assignments. Already included in APC40 template but all users can benefit from this.

Small file size. Only 45 bytes!

Download: Empty.wav

BM3 to BM3 Focus Actions

Allows third-party apps/plugins that either run in standalone mode or as a plugin in a supported host to control Beatmaker 3. Essentially, BM3 controls itself via other apps..and yes this method records midifx until midi routing is restored (if it is restored)

Download: n/a
Some users already have this so ask around. Still figuring out what works, what doesn’t before posting.

And here's all the ridiculous info for the preview version you might want to know:

HOW TO USE

For those unfamiliar with link groups, empty wavs, and instrument mapping:

SAMPLES AND PLUGINS LOADING/LINKING/OTHER

On PAGE TWO in 64 view (PAGE SEVEN in 16 view) are some preset pads to load your own samples or plugins. They are labeled LdnLnk Assign a linkgroup 1-12 to see how this works after loading if you plan on staying inside the ERNs bank.

You can also load plugins to ERNs pads if you wish. It will just ovveride the naming scheme I used to keep you organized. You can always rename it back if you wish. Don't forget!

It is suggested to not load audio samples on ERNs pads themselves unless you map to a new layer/existing layer and the assigned keys of whatever pad you are viewing are matched. This takes work. Save yourself tons of trouble and don't load samples onto ERNs' pads

Plugins can also listen on the banks midi input or pads midi input. Customize to your liking.

SAMPLE/PLUGIN EFFECTS PARAMETERS SETTINGS MUTES

Adding effects, adjusting any sample settings, modulations and muting ERNs scale pads does nothing. Do this to where your samples/plugins are located. Exception: Plugins on pads, AU parameters (Looking for a proper feature request for link groups)

AUDIO TRAINING IMPLEMENTATION

This preview version does not have training or games any kind. Just the empty patterns. You can get them by loading patterns when you load the bank. There are a few small info tidbits and midi. Nothing special at this time. It currently covers nothing but an understanding of the Major Formula. More will come in future releases including chord design and training. There are pads reserved for the audio trainers on Page Two.

M1 PIANO LG1-12

The piano is being referenced 12 times on PAGE TWO (PAGE 8 in 16 view) For each 12 pads you see they are assigned link groups (LG 1-12). Each piano sample also has a polyphony of 12. This is to create a playable keys mode outside of keys mode and to prevent choking if you stay inside this bank.

The M1 Piano files can be bypassed with mutes or deleted. The more deleting you do, the more choking the piano will do if you are going to play keys outside of keys or utilize multiple scales with the M1 Piano pads.

COPY/PASTE

Save resources. If you load this bank in your sessions and are not going to use the instrument or training itself, then I suggest copying ERNs pads to other banks and then unloading the ERNs bank.

EQUAL PATTERN TRANSFER

Any midi recorded to the ERNs bank from the scale pads can equally be transferred to another bank and pad in whichever method you use to do this. This includes the keys outside of keys mode.

SCALES

< NO SCALE > in BM3 SCALES MODE is the layout for actual scales per pad. Each pad has modes in < NO SCALE > built into paging via semitones. Each one is uniquely different. Scale modes will be covered in audio training at a later time. Even if you don't know theory. I suggest you play with this to see how your music changes. I'm doing this in sections.

CHORDS MODE (TEACHERS)

Chords do not play out on ERNs pads by default. They instead teach you the actual chord in whichever pad you are viewing in KEYS MODE. This can only be bypassed with plugins I believe.

KEYS MODE OUTSIDE OF KEYS MODE

The 16/64 pads in ERNs are also a completely polyphonic instrument. Each pad is playable and also highlights it's octaves. It covers a 5 octave range. You can play all sorts of strange things with this or combine it with each scale type. Even customize the starting key range regardless of labeling.

16 CUSTOM SCALE/CHORD PRESET PADS

Unnamed pads in ERNs can serve three purposes. To serve as any octave of a specific key, colorless for some specific audio training challenges/games, or for you to build your own custom scales/chord sets with the empty riff notes included in the resources folder.

ERNs FOLDER

Here you will find all the premapped empty riff notes to build anything you want. A drag and drop on mappings will assign everything automatically for you. You don't even have to worry about where you drop it. It's always root/high/low and velocity 127. This can be adjusted in any way you wish after dropping if needed. This makes building things extremely fast.

BUGS/LIMITATIONS

THINGS TO BE AWARE OF:
This bank has the potential of exposing 5-10 bugs AND/OR current limitations of Beatmaker 3. I wanted to let everyone know this. @mathieugarcia is already aware of many of them.

Here is the list of experiences you may come across:

1 - Latch/sustains WHILE IN KEYS MODE (multitouch more than one finger) when doing scale runs will sustain a random note (making a one shot)

2 - Lost touches/incorrect note values - OUTSIDE OF KEYS MODE mostly related to slide behaviors or fast movements. Sliding your finger across a set of 4 pads in 16 view will show lost touches. You can actually see this bug sliding slowly in sampler view or performance view. Fast movements between pads can trigger incorrect note values. Causing #4

3 - Missed quantization - sliding does not quantize NOTE ONs. Only taps quantize. Related to unconfirmed bugs by users such as pad erase. Can't pad erase properly sometimes if NOTE ONs are not quantized.

4 - Choking pads when choking is off because incorrect note values sometimes happen when playing pads fast (think a finger drummer), the same note values sometimes trigger at the same time, causing a perceived choke even though choke isn't set. This also causes midi data to not be captured to the pattern editor. Edit: I’ve attempted to make a workaround for this and for other reasons by referencing the M1 twelve times.

5 - Layer issues - 3 bugs in one really. Sample selection in an existing layer is incorrect, collapsed versus uncollapsed between pads causes autoscroll, can also make pad layers disappear requiring a slide down to refresh. Also makes mapping screen seem incorrect when pad is selected. Sometimes sample edit screen will show ‘NO SAMPLE’.

6 - Pattern Numbers - they do not change properly when doing a combination of deleting/adding patterns. You can delete any pattern and it's pattern number will stay the same. Creating a new pattern after doing so puts it back... but the patterns can't be moved up and down. Causing disorganization.

7 - Bad Scroll lock in mappings this one is only exposed if a user is building an instrument (not with my samples included). When adjusting zones in any layer and adding another sample and adjusting it's zone, a scroll lock can happen at some point where you can no longer move back and forth through the 10oct keybed in mappings. It will auto scroll and ZOOM+ controls become broken. Reloading a bank or the same session doesn't fix this because the mappings window container in code is not tied to bank or sessions. The only fix is to restart BeatMaker 3.

8 - NEW Crash with effects Not related to ERNs, this is any project and only on instrument pads that are linked to other pads, but not ERNs pads themselves. Pressing the pad effect button on your own instruments and then playing on ERNs pads (any linked pads with effects as well) may crash BM3. This happens mostly when copying a pad that has effects from another bank and then linking it.

9 - NEW Pad Grid Edges pad grid itself is playable outside of performance view pads and even on all other navigation views. Lol. While playing outside of KEYS MODE/or inside KEYS MODE you may experience a control such as select, keys, mute, solo, a repeat, trigger, scales mode, chords mode, navigation, etc switch on/off even though you know for a fact you didn’t touch those buttons. If your finger still held down you will be able to still play the keys or pads.

If anyone using this can confirm these, I would seriously appreciate it. But don’t hunt for them. Let them happen naturally. Make music instead!

COLLABORATORS

I am looking for anyone who is interested in making some cool effects presets for this or macros for the M1 built in or other ideas. Got a cool idea, PM me your ERNs bank in a zip and I'll make it official in this one.

MOST OF ALL:

Have fun and let me know if this has helped you in your workflows or made music extremely fun to create. I accept all constructive criticism!

Peace out!

I made this bank as an accessory for myself and thought id share it with you guys in case someone finds this useful.

Bank has 16 pads with empty wavs and midi in/out routed to corresponsing channels. Plus a 17th pad that has single cycle sine wave loaded that can be used as a tuner;
Put it on the same link group as the sample/sound you want to tune, change the default note that the pad plays to what ever note you want to tune your sound to, then just play your sound while changing its tune and you can hear when it matches with the sine wave.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=18HkEHyI9Yw9dKXPBNQLVtLzXXIuwE_En

Single cycle sine is from adventurekids free library: https://www.adventurekid.se/akrt/waveforms/ . I highly recommend checking it out.
