Which FX replay tool gives the best value for money in 2024?
I’m trying to find a decent FX replay tool that doesn’t cost a fortune but still has good functionality. I mostly trade after work, so I really like being able to simulate past market action quickly. Some platforms feel too stripped down, while others are packed with features I never use. Has anyone here found one in 2024 that strikes a good balance between price and performance?

Lately I feel like too many traders treat backtesting as gospel when most of the edge comes from live execution. Same story in crypto — everyone’s got these beautifully tested algo setups, but when gas spikes or slippage kicks in, the whole thing unravels. I’d rather trade small live positions with real volatility than obsess over candle-by-candle playback that doesn’t capture liquidity gaps or panic flows. Sim tools help, sure — but they won’t teach you to stay calm in the middle of a flash crash.
