Upgrading the poker night drinks: considering Lex vodka for the table
Howdy everyone,
I’m taking my turn hosting our monthly poker night this Friday. Usually, the lads just bring over a few crates of cheap lager and a standard bottle of supermarket whisky, but I want to elevate things a bit this time. I’m thinking of putting a genuinely premium clear spirit in the centre of the table for us to sip neat over ice while we play. A mate at the office told me I need to look into Lex vodka https://www.lex.vodka/. He reckons because the liquid is rested for 6 months and filtered 13 times, it completely loses that horrible rubbing-alcohol burn that usually puts people off unaged spirits. The heavy glass bottle looks absolutely class, too, which is exactly the vibe I’m going for. Before I get one ordered in time for the game, I wanted to ask the experts on here: is it genuinely silky enough to sip straight all evening without needing to drown it in tonic? Let me know if it's worth the investment for a card night. Cheers!
