beatmaker pad/delay issues on a 1st gen. Iphone...

I just downloaded beatmaker and I have to say, I'm super impressed. The sounds are great, easy to use, etc. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any troubles with the pads being a bit delayed on an older iPhone? I watched a few YouTube clips of people using the 3g phones and it looked like there were no issues. Anyone?(ps I swear it's not just me having bad time!)

Mine has a decent amount of latency to it, enough to make me use the step sequencer most of the time...

I keep hearing people say that they have latency, but mine's been fine. I do all mine live via the pads all the time.
