Delay triplet/dotted buttons reversed

edited December 2011 in Support
In the delay fx the Dotted and the Triplet boxes give the the other ones delay value.
The triplet box=dotted delay
The dotted box=triplet delay

Program a sample on every quarter note and then put an 8th note dotted delay on it, you will get a lovely waltz time !!!!

Normal is correct.

    Hi,

Everything is looking good here, triplet mode does make triplets.

    Cheers,

Wow that is weird. Tried it on iPhone 4s and iPad 2 latest iOS 5 rev, both as an insert on the track aswell as the master and the same result, they are reversed.

Obviously talking to myself on this one, but still not fixed in 2.2.

    Hi,

Here's the situation on this one:

we've designed our Delay to work like Apple's Logic, and they behave the same.
To my ears, I believe you're right, the triplet and dotted settings look like they're switched.
So it seems Logic has an issue with that too...

Anyway, we could not fix it for 2.2 update, because it would make old projects sound differently. We'll be looking at another solution for a next update, thank you.

    Cheers,
    Colin
