How to record without default pads playing

Hi there

I am new to the beatmaker2. My issue is. Each time i would like to record, it seems some pads play by default, and as a result i cannot record with all the ipads automatically going off. How do i swutch of the pads to stop playing automatically as i record?

    Not to assume you don't know this but your question is a bit vague.

    If pads are playing when you hit play/rec then you have data in your midi track. You'll have to delete what you don't want.

    If not can you please explain what you are doing and what you are trying to accomplish?
