Hi guys I've just seen the Beatmaker 2 update for my Ipod Touch. My question is if I update will I lose all the tracks I've been working on? I'd like to know before I update. Cheers.
As a rule of thumb always assume that any update to any software will destroy your data. If it's important and you don't want to lose it, you should backup often.
Ideally you should maintain a backup in 3 different places, CD/DVD/flash drive, external hard drive, off site (in case you physically lose the data).
I lost 2 years of loops and synth samples that I was putting together for a sample CD.
