Filter envelope kills cutoff setting?

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the filter envelope. If I make it active, it seems like the cutoff setting on the filter then makes no difference (or very little discernible difference) to the sound. Only the "amount" setting of the envelope does.

The amount of the filter envelope is supposed to effect the base cutoff setting of the filter.

    The work around I found is to place a filter as an insert FX. But you are right the filter behavior is unexpected.
