Delete from Sound Library? presets..

I can't seem to manage anything in the Sound Libary. I'd like to be able to delete some of the instruments in the sampler as well as the drum samples.

I figured out how to delete in My Content. The file management in My Content is a little wonky- although I haven't spent a whole lot of time with it.

Is this a FTP thing? I saw the program Filezilla mentioned somewhere. Is there a convenient app for messing with another app's files?

    Cyberduck is better than filezilla...filezilla drops files consistantly...when sending from the computer to the ipad....i believe this is because the data is being transferred faster than the ipad can receive.

    Yes the filesystem in beatmaker is in need of work! You can do alot more from cyberduck...

    Make sure when you erase songs that you dont also erase sounds you may want to keep as well, or when you erase sounds from one location it doesnt ruin all songs with those sounds, as this is a common fault in the filetree.

    So I can delete preset sounds via FTP?

    Hi,

    The internal soundbank cannot be deleted by FTP, only files within the My Content directory.

    I havent tried to delete factory sounds, but you are saying i cant? Why? I may not as a user want that on my unit...its just eating space...why force somebody to keep it...i dont understand this thought?

    I also believe that your file system is not very nice...i mean in comparison to everything else

    I believe (my opinion)
    The file to a song should contain...user samples, efx presets, the sequence, the midifile, and the renders if any...and it should be zippable...so that by sending one file another user can open, edit, and return my file...it should also be lockable <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

    I believe that having all my files junked up with no extensions displayed is a mess, i got folders to songs that contain no songs etc buddy its not very useable honestly. I mean why would i NOT wanna save my user samples with a song? I could export a midi file if i just want a sequence? So ?

    A newer improved filesystem now that we got dropbox

    Instrument packs (user)

    The ability to change the gui color for different instruments (helps user find the right drum machine or keyboard quicker) color is faster than reading

    Also the ability to user define color blocks in the sequencer

    I believe these are very significant and needed updates!
