I am new
Just Bought BeatMaker 2
I have Few Question regarding BeatMaker 2
I like to use BeatMaker 2 as my Back Up For Audio
Like when i press Keyboard(oxigen25) have to trigger same time My PC(using SCS) and BeatMaker
Also i try to Import Song to BeatMaker Using Ftp Filezilla
it works good but the song that i have are like 10 to 12 min
can i load all File

And one more last
how can i map MIDI on BeatMaker 2 Drum pad

It is assumed that you own beatmaker2 when you are using it...(intua can pat you on the back, for purchasing it)

I dont understand, however, "i just use beatmaker as a back up for my audio". What the hell are you telling me? Use a usb keydrive or external hard drive to back up sounds...why the hell would you need beatmaker to do this...? I am not sure we are at a level of good communication here?

Why are you triggering the pc and beatmaker at the same time...sound layers? Hopefully not the same patch? If you dont wnat those triggering at the same time you have to set the pc and the ipad/iphone to different midi channels? If you do set the channels the same.

Ummm why not chop the song into parts...i am sure that the song has many repeated parts...i know it doesnt change everything all the time for 12 minutes...nobody would like that. Just trigger the parts where they come in and then you dont need to import such large audio files. Beatmakers is limited by the 256 mg of ram on the idevice...so there will be a bottleneck.

If your plugin synth, or daw had midi learn that will help you with mapping...as it will usually give ou the note number when you hit each pad...write down the pad note numbers on a sketch and keep it handy for quick note number entry...

I hope i have answered in a way that helps, but i am not a rep of intua so they may have better answers.

after searching i figure out we can use Beatmaker as MP (May be Wrong Information)
any how i will use it i like Beatmake 2

Hi john3626,

You can definitely use BeatMaker 2 to trigger audio samples using a MIDI controller.
MIDI routing (OUT, SYNC, ..) is also possible. However, it seems you need to trigger huge samples (10 minutes or more ?), which can be problematic due to memory restrictions on Apple's devices and iOS. The good news is that we're currently adding audio streaming, which will make this kind of thing possible, as samples won't need to be loaded entirely in memory to play.
