Ever since djay got Audiobus support what I do is use djay to sample into BM 2's sampler. I get to choose what parts I want on different pads, and trim accordingly. It gets the job done for now, plus it makes a great tool to scratch samples with.

Dee,
It really couldn't be any simpler.
Djay on audiobus input, BM2 on output.
Select a pad to record to, and select audiobus as input.
Record whatever you choose to play or scratch in djay to BM2's pads.
I haven't even done this but it just makes sense given the current options in all apps concerned.

What dub said. You can also record djay into BM2's audio tracks if you want. Djay and BeatMaker 2 connected via Audiobus make a killer virtual sampler/turntable combo!

Whohoo, thanks for those ideas guys! I've been a fan of Djay and BM since they first came out. Audiobus is the missing link!
OMG did not know that, I brought dyay but been using traktor alot but now defintelty going to use this as my main to go dj app for sampling now.
I can get rid of crappy tabletop now:)
Me too, that will free up nearly a Gigabyte. They are very slow to add features/updates such as Audiobus and make it seem as if it is too complicated.According to the Audiobus site it can be added in as little as 30 minutes, yet they have been "working on it" for over 6 months.
iMPC lacks so many features it is like a Beta version that they are charging for and hyping to death like it is the greatest thing since sliced toast.
What does IMPC do that BM can't?.....In all our we saying BM needs a better way to sample? should BM implement a turntable sampling option?
..oh is IMPC worth buying?
No impc is not as good as BM2.
What the others users were saying is that the turntable sampler is a feature BM2 should implement. But with using audio bus with Djay as an input and BM2 set up as an output. You can get rid of impc as a turntable sampler all together because you can work with it that way.

How does it work?
Which app do you load the sample in?
