Can Beatmaker 2 send MIDI from one instrument to the same / other Beatmaker 2 instrument?
If so, I was thinking that MIDIBridge could be used as an all-BM2 solution to multi-sampled drum pads.
MIDIBridge can map a note on one channel to multiple notes on another channel. Playing one drum pad bank (say Bank A) could generate notes on MIDI channel one, which would be converted to multiple notes on MIDI Channel two.
You could then play a single pad to trigger multiple samples.
I've got the mapping in MIDIBridge working where BM2 triggers another synth, but I can't get it to loop back on itself. When I set MIDIBridge as the input and output source, I get a continues noise.
Any ideas? Thanks.
