Importing a midi file

Maybe I'm missing something but I can't find how to import a midi file. I know how to ask for it in track view but hoe does it get into the fine system. The only way I see is from the paste button in studio view but it doesn't paste the .mid file.

Any help out there ? Thanks so much

    I don't do this much but I think it's just use Dropbox or whatever to get the .mid file into your files, then open a new project, and in the sequencer window on bottom menu select import...remember drums are always track 10 on midifiles
