Jumped from 3.0.3 —> 3.0.6.. in the Mix.. Let’s see the Fix..

Just updated to 3.0.6 from 3.0.3.

Not sure about tonight, but I’ll update this thread with any findings.

Thing is, I’ll have to go through all of the 3.0.4-5 stuff as well..
Some catching up to do..

    Ok, gone through the previous updates lists.

    Overall.. :-)

    Found a few minor things within them, but their gonna have to wait till Saturday to report..

    Haven’t gone through my own personal workflow testing yet, just the updates.

    This app is becoming what I expected.

    Great update. I'm getting more done on iOS than ever before and now that arrangement section is shaping up I'm actually getting use out of this Apple pencil.

    Feel like in a few updates it will be undeniable to a lot of people

    Got a few minutes to log a couple things..

    Overall nice update(s) @mathieugarcia.

    From my iPhone notes:

    Navigation is much quicker with the double tap from various screens (Song).

    Moving notes in the pattern editor is very smooth.

    One issue I’m having with the Jumping in the timeline is; samples are cut. I have some vocal samples in this test project (maybe a second in length). It plays the first nanosecond (where it has jumped to) then cuts.

    Was not able to drag n drop from AudioShare via the files app, to a pad.

    Large text auto-scrolls - which text?
    I deliberately renamed a file with an extra long name to check (browser)

    Not sure what the momentary zoom is all about. I see it zoom, but not enough for any real purpose.

    Anyway, these are just updates lists check off’s.

    momentary zoom: I recorded 16 bars of midi notes from fugue machine, which were offset at the start of the pattern. I selected all notes by double tapping the select tool, tapped and held the left (move) arrows, and zoomed from seeing all 16 bars on screen down to showing just the first bar (and the first quarter of the second bar), so I could adjust the notes to the left easily.

    also I just tested for the first time loading up files app in slide over, chose Audioshare, and dragged a wav to a pad, worked just fine!

    oh, in case anyone tries this with fugue machine, I forgot to mention that the initial recording had ghost notes at the beginning. so I actually cut the pattern with the scissors tool to get rid of that part first, then edited the resulting second pattern.

    AudioShare drag not working for me (may file a bug) mini2-11.1.1.
    Tried with all sorts of files, even single cycle.
    Even tried file from within BM3 (via files app) to make sure it wasn’t AudioShare.

    Can’t even remember now what I did to get the zoom thingy to work last week.. lol

    Edit: just tried again.. if your zoom out quite a ways it will zoom in a ways.
    I was already zoomed in a ways on my initial test. I see it now :)
    When zoomed in, it only zooms ‘vertically’, and only a little.

    @KING hey ! Re navigation with double tap options, just wanted to check I wasn’t missing out on any new shortcuts?

    I can only see that double tap left bank Column name in song mode brings up pads. Is there anything else ?

    Hey @triton100,

    On the same screen, if you double tap on either Audio Track, Aux or Main Out, it will teleport you to the Mixer. ;)

    Side note:
    This rout could be useful if for example you have 101 tracks in your project, because when you double tap, it will bring you to that particular track in the Mixer and the track will be highlighted/selected etc..

    Finally got it to work - somewhat..

    The app I’m dragging ‘to’ needs to be in the foreground.
    I grab a file, then tap (in this case) the BM3 part of the screen, the files app disappears, and the green (+) circle appears, - and then I’m able to drop where I like.
    It is the same procedure with Auria Pro! .. so..

    Also, earlier when I was investigating “why oh why” (lol) it wasn’t working, I went into the AppStore, where to my surprise (Twilight Zone) it was showing the download arrow, although it was on my iPad. - see below:

    You can clearly see the app is installed (far left taskbar). Deleted, reinstalled, - same issue (regarding drag n drop)..

    But at least now there is some workability.. :-)
