So embarrassed, but maybe will help someone else down the line?
I'm trying to learn this HUGE new mixer I just got,
and it turns out that I did not have the PANNING set to hard left and hard right on the main computer playback channel, so OF COURSE everything played back on that channel sounded kinda mono, not as wide or full as the original source. It seems i've been hearing a lot of things playing back in MONO for the last few weeks but didn't realize... YIKES!!
Whoops - lol - DOH!!
Don't be afraid to help others with your own idiocy, Friends!
(Now go double check all of your mixer channels' pan settings! - Somebody may thank me later! )
