I never thought about cleaning the dryer vent. I always thought that if the dryer worked, then everything was fine. But then my neighbour said his vent was clogged and almost caught fire. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I didn't think much about the vent on my dryer until one day it started overheating and my clothes were still damp after a full wash cycle. I thought it was the machine itself, but a friend suggested it could be a clogged vent. I called the dryer vent cleaning people and they showed me how much lint was in there! After the cleaning the dryer worked like new and I now know that these things should not be ignored.

    Wow, I never thought about that! How often should I clean my vents? Did cleaning make a big difference to the drying time?
