Downloading the Update?

A question about downloading the update - When I go to iTunes App store it shows the new version of Beatmaker but there is no mention of "update". It only shows how to buy the full $20 version. If I already have the program is it going to charge me the full$20 again or is there another way to simply access just the update?

    Connect your iPhone to your computer. In the lists to the left toward the top you will see "applications" - select this and it should show you all the apps you have on your iPhone. Once there, look to the lower right of the window and there is a selection to update your apps. Click this and download away.

    you know what? it's just not working for me at all....

    the last time there was an update, it went straight to the update screen when i selected 'check for updates'..

    this time it says no updates, and when i do click on the intua app in the store, it asks if i want to buy it again..

    am i missing something here?
