Quite plainly- Yes! You will loose them, (but that's good if that's what you want to do).

    It's a bit of a mess.

We need 'save as to a specific location' for sessions and file, and a copy and paste file (within the browser).

In this case the only(?) thing to do is to move your sample(s) to the main Sample folder in the main directory (or you can create your own folder).
Another issue with this method is you will have to re-load the samples into the current session, 'from' that new folder, and save it (if your planning on using the session and not ready to delete yet - otherwise BM3 will list them as missing.

Another thing is you will have to constantly move new recorded etc file to that folder..

    Hope this helps, ... someone.

A 'Relocate missing files' is in the works though.

  • It's similar to this, (which you contributed too):

BM3 is not searching for files, it tells you they are missing from the current project, and expects you to find them.

Hopefully we get frequent updates to address these fundamentals.

"20, Missing files in loading sessions should have the option to Auto-search or manually search before the session is fully loaded. BM3 should be able to locate them and give you the option to load (individually).

Vincent: We can add a "relocate missing files" option when there are missing samples."
