The Question for Intua team

edited March 2009 in General
Guys, you've been working hard last year and brought us few important updates. Thank you for it.
What is Intua team working on at the moment?
Are you thinking of upgrading Beatmaker even more or are you developing some new software which can work along with Beatmaker similar to Noise.io?'
Cheers

    Thanks guys,
I thought you might be working on some separate products
I hope the suprise will arrive soon

I just hope the products have something to do with music and with beatmaker. Having seperate apps that are related will not be good unless Intua develops an "application launcher" 1 program with all the apps inside. I really don't need 2 more icons on my springboard. Speaking of which, I've already filled my 9 pages so I'd have to delete something just to try this.

That is unlikey and will probably cause memory issues. Just my thoughts, but I might be wrong.

It wouldn't cause memory issues if it ran only one application at a time. I'm just sayin they should implement a way to consolidate the applications (and not that micro-transaction crap they demo'd on 3.0). Take idrum for example. 4 different idrums because they have different sounds, it's a waste of springboard space.

Correct me if I'm wrong here. You're saying they should implement a way to load Beatmaker and then you chose which Intua app you want? The reason being just to save the springboard space? I see them wanting to develop different standalone apps which can in some ways can share a library or work together, but only one app at the time. Also, some people might chose not to download-buy all the Intua apps. As per iDrum, you're correct, that doesn't make sense. It's the same app, just different sounds. Here, I think they're off to something else..dunno. It's hard to say, they didn't say what they're up to.

Yeah, that's probably more likely. Good news! I'm excited... bring it!

Yah exactly, one main intua launcher app and when you buy the seperate appz, like beatmaker for example, it gets put into the intua application directory. This way you aren't required to buy them all to use just one of the appz. Also having one launcher program could allow a place to preview the WAV files without loading a specific application per say (this could be noise.io. starguitar or any other app that intua joins with). What I'm thinking is that intua understands the limitations of the iphone and the best way to include the features people want is to create a suite/collection of appz to work in tandem. *this is only a guess; however. It makes more sense then trying to cram it all into beatmaker and not have the features work properly.

And ya, I'm saying only one application would work at a time. And yes it is to save springboard space, but also to unify an Intua Production Suite. Get my drift?

    Sounds good to me.
