Recording with more than a bar

edited April 2009 in General
I just brought BeatMaker yesterday. The problem I have is it only allow me 1 bar to records my beat, is there a way to increase this to say 2 or 4 I want my tracks to have changes and this limits me to do that.

I am sorry but I don't quite understand what your problem is. Could please describe what you are trying to do with more detail?

    Thanks

At this time I'm only allow one bar to record. I want to be able to record 4, 8,or even 16 if I want the loops only allow me to do one bar.

plus when recording is there a way you can solo or mute a track?

I like to program to put down ideas when I"m on the road but I want my ideas to sound like what I have in my head!!
Any assistant would be greatly appreciated.
  • In sequencer view, tap the pattern you want to edit. There will be another button at this point that says Pattern Edit. Tap it, then tap "Change Pattern Size". This will allow for 1-4 bar patterns, which makes for a lot less tapping

I don't think you can mute a pattern, but you can mute the pads if you want to. Jump to pads. Tap "Modes", then tap "Mute". Then just pick the pads you want to cancel out. I don't think this will help but there it is anyways. You can reverse them too, which is pretty much awesome.

    Take care!
