Sustain/hold button not working with AU MIDI

Hello everyone,
First day of BM3, I seem to have issue with the sustain button in bank mode. I was expecting if sustain pedal button switched on I could latch my playing on the bank in key mode? This does not work however.

The sustain unlatches when you switch away. I really hate this.
My problem is it doesn’t latch in the first place.
Here is screenshot of key mode I’m in.
It works fine here, does the sample have a loop ?
Ok, It’s to do with AU midi FX.
So sustain latch does work. It does not work with AU midi FX Active.
What I want to do is to trigger and latch a AU midi FX using the sustain pedal and this does not work.
