Can Beatmaker detect or adjust to tempo and keys of samples?

I only had Beatmaker for a few days, I'm used to Akai and EMU samplers although its been years since i actually touched them..

with that said i had some basic expectations

1st , I thought Beatmaker could detect the tempo of a sample, for example adjust the time line and length of a loop to the sample and then tell the bpm or vise versa where th sample will snap and stretch to the selected length of a loop..still no luck there.

2 the pitch, i assumed it had a tuner built in where i can record or import any sound, assure its in tune for example to a C1 (if its the natural range) then simple go...

I did notice that it allowed continues sampling and automatic pad lay outs or even from a sliced sample..that was cool..

Did i miss something or is this a feature missing still?

Hope i missed it because its def a great sampler so far.

    I agree :) i have to get over it..why are you changing your pants...did you **** on yourself?
