AudioCopy.

edited May 2010 in General
I purchased BeatMaker last year. I was amazed at this great app for iPod touch, but after a bit a use, the crampiness of the iPod screen turned me off. but the app, regardless, was worth $20 bucks, and despite not using it much, I was a proud owner and told people about it.

this past Friday I purchased an iPad. that device was made for me, haha. I won't even get started.

anyway, I couldn't wait to try BeatMaker on it, stretched out over the screen. I am now re-familiarizing myself with BeatMaker, and enjoying it, despite the pixelation from upscaling the app. it is a major surge of joy to hear that intua is making a version for iPad.

now that I'm using BeatMaker... I started to wonder if it supported Sonoma's audio copy functions, so I started googling and ran across a tweet that said The next BeatMaker update would bring audio copy functions: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href=" m -->

unfortunately, I cannot find any info on this elsewhere on the net. if it is true, it will be so amazing to have beatmaker copy music i,ve created over to another awesome app for music production, StudioTrack, where I can proceed to record vocals, etc.

____________
UPDATE: i just found out that the app AudioView supports both sonoma's audio copy/paste and intua's pasteboards, so i am able to use that as a brodge between apps.

looks like all i am looking forward to now is the actual iPad version of BeatMaker. <!-- s:-D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":-D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:-D -->

yes. I'm loving it. now all I need is a keyboard/synth app that allows recording... to implement audiocopy/paste... hopefully miniSynth Pro will. I suggested it to them, haha.

but yeah... beatmaker is awesome. I love it all over again, and love it long time. (thanks to the iPad screen size and upscaling the app).
