My slight problem at the moment

So i have a slight problem with beatmaker 2 at the moment. Everytime i put a sound or note in on piece of music it automatically copy's over to the other piece and at times i dont want it it to. It's only just started doing it the other day so i assume i have press something?? Can anyone help with this problem?

    My guess is, you have cloned a pattern (piece). These have all the same number/naming. Each time you change one of them you change all of them...

    There are two buttons to "duplicate" a pattern; one makes a clone, which is still linked to the original, the other one produces a copy, which is a spereate unit after that and can be changed individually.
