    When working in detailed/zoomed view on a long sample, it’s pretty easy to get lost in what key plays what slice. What about adding the key name (C3, C#3, D3, etc.) next to the slice number?

    I personally would check pattern automation/pattern midi. And remember more than one CC value for volume. CC#7 and CC#39

    Cool thanks dudes. Yeah in my experience #1 and #3 have opened the same version of the session but I wasn't 100% sure.

    I think that list literally shows the last 3 projects either opened or saved, and in your example #1 and #3 would open the same file.

    * Try to setup up an extreme sidechain compressor (using the same dynamics plugin as #3 above) that effectively ducks the signal when the kickdrum hits

    Root = C3/Low = G2/High =F#3 if you wanted the interpolation spread from root.
