Hello all, I'm new in this forum. Tried to search a minimum spec requirements for using the BM3, found at the home site that it works with iOS 9.3+ and later. I have never had an Ipad nor anything of Apple products. I'm very interested in this app, but I'm having hard times with money, so it would be fantastic to find the cheapest way to work with this app. So my question is : what oldest Ipads do you use with BM3? Your answers will be very appreciated, please help me with some info that I could spend my last money for an app and compactible Ipad to work with. Thank you.

I've purchased BM3 and I love the app but there's one thing that I am missing: I want to use the wide array of instruments available in Garageband and I want to record (or import the recordings) into BM3. I've done quite a bit of research online on this topic and I've found out that I can't really record GB's output into BM3 (at least not directly) - not available as IAA or AU3. If I understand correctly it's not possible via AUM or Audibus either (I don't own either of these apps yet - I am willing to purchase either though if they enable me to do what I want or at least enable a workaround solution which isn't possible without them). I found a workaround that someone suggested but it's not working for me. I am hoping someone could point me in the right direction on how to start solving this problem.

This is the suggested workaround:
1. Open BM3 OUT in Garageband as IAA.
2. Load the desired instrument in Garageband.
3. Play what you've recorded in BM3 so far while recording the desired instrument in GB.
4. After recording, solo the track with the desired instrument recording in GB and export its audio.
5. Import that recorded audio file into BM3.
6. Rinse and repeat.

I really like some of the instruments in GB and that is why I am willing to go through this painful workaround (as long as my patience holds) if there is no other way. The problem is that I can't even open BM3 in Garageband. When I tap on "BeatMaker 3 OUT (Audio)" in the IAA instrument section of GB, I get the following error: "App Not Available. The Inter-App Audio app you have selected is not available at this time." So I am stuck at step 1 already and quite clueless on how to proceed. I could split step 1 into
1.1 Export song from BM3 and
1.2 Import song into GB,
but that is even more time consuming.

Is this workaround even possible? Did I miss something in my research and I can actually record audio output from GB into BM3 directly?

Any help/pointers on this matter are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

TL;DR
The Atom midi controller doesnt seem to record properly, video attached.

The Atom midi controller feels like the best portable midi pad option available right now IMHO. However it doesnt seem to work with Beatmaker 3.
I can map everything fine and its very responsive and I can play drums and samples on it perfectly. But when it comes to actually recording anything, something goes wrong. It often won't record notes I play (even though they clearly were triggered in the software) and a lot of the time when it does happen to record some of the notes, you won't be able to hear them until you stop the pattern and then press play again.
This issue does not exist when I play on the ipad screen pads directly, nor does it happen when I plug in my Akai MPD218 pad controller. The MPD218 almost was exactly what I wanted but unfortunately has issues with double triggering notes. The Atom has amazing pads, has a ton of controls and is even more compact than the 218! I'd really love to use it but for some reason I cant get it working and cant find ANY info on people using it with Beatmaker 3.

Here is a video I made of the issue I am talking about.

Can anyone explain how it works in practice? Is it more luck-based or can you use strategies? I’m also curious about how fast the payouts are and if the game runs smoothly on mobile. I’d love to hear personal experiences before trying it myself.

2026 bank holidays in the United Kingdom are public holidays during which most businesses, schools, and government offices are closed. They are an important aspect of UK culture, providing citizens with opportunities to rest, spend time with family, or participate in cultural and religious celebrations. In 2026, the UK will observe a series of bank holidays across its constituent countries—England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland—each with slightly different dates reflecting local traditions and historical events.

In England and Wales, there are eight official bank holidays in 2026. The year begins with New Year’s Day on January 1, a widely celebrated occasion marking the start of the calendar year. The Early May Bank Holiday falls on May 4, providing a spring break for workers and students alike. Spring Bank Holiday is observed on May 25, offering another long weekend in the late spring. The traditional Christian holidays of Good Friday (April 3) and Easter Monday (April 6) are also included as bank holidays. As the year draws to a close, Christmas Day on December 25 and Boxing Day on December 26 are observed; in 2026, Boxing Day is celebrated on the substitute day of December 28, since December 26 falls on a Saturday. These holidays give residents of England and Wales several opportunities to enjoy extended weekends and participate in traditional celebrations.

Scotland has nine bank holidays in 2026, reflecting both shared UK holidays and uniquely Scottish observances. In addition to New Year’s Day, Good Friday, and Christmas, Scotland observes 2 January as a public holiday to celebrate the extended New Year festivities. Another uniquely Scottish holiday is St Andrew’s Day, celebrated on November 30, honoring Scotland’s patron saint. Scotland also observes Easter Monday, though some regions may have different customs surrounding it. The inclusion of both shared and region-specific holidays ensures that Scottish residents have opportunities to celebrate both national and local traditions throughout the year.

In Northern Ireland, the bank holiday schedule in 2026 is slightly more extensive, with ten days observed. In addition to the standard New Year, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day, Northern Ireland celebrates St Patrick’s Day on March 17, marking the country’s patron saint, and the Battle of the Boyne on July 13, a historical commemoration with deep cultural significance. May 4 serves as the Early May Bank Holiday, while the Spring Bank Holiday is on May 25, similar to the rest of the UK. These holidays reflect Northern Ireland’s unique history and cultural identity, giving residents the chance to observe significant national and religious events.

Bank holidays are significant not only for rest and leisure but also for the economy and society. Retailers, hospitality businesses, and tourist attractions often see increased activity during these periods, while employees benefit from legally mandated days off in many sectors. Families use these breaks to plan vacations, attend festivals, or simply spend quality time together. Cultural and religious observances tied to bank holidays help preserve traditions and strengthen community ties across the UK.

In conclusion, the bank holidays of 2026 in the UK provide structured opportunities for rest, cultural celebration, and social engagement. England and Wales will observe eight holidays, Scotland nine, and Northern Ireland ten, each reflecting local traditions and national observances. These holidays remain an important part of British life, offering a balance between work, leisure, and cultural heritage, and allowing residents to enjoy planned breaks throughout the year.

Geoshred AU is coming to iOS and I've been testing it. Works in AU mode within Beatmaker 3... sounds great except when you go to record a pattern into BM3 midi track by playing the Geoshred keyboard... No notes are recorded. I can only play notes from Geoshred synth into the pattern sequencer using the standard boring BM3 piano keys where of course all the amazing expressive control of Geoshred fretboard is lost.

Geoshred developer tells me this is definitely a problem with BM3. Sure enough I tested this by loading Geoshred as an AU in Cubasis... Began recording and the notes played on the geoshred fretboard ARE recorded fine! The developer says Geo has been tested ok with AB3 and AUM as well so it's 100% a BM3 issue.

The premium setting of Spotify is much more improved in terms of streaming costs, songs and podcasts and even more.

However, confusion about the price of premium costs might take place for customers. If you have the ability to deal with such concerns, you can quickly choose its strategy and can get access to it today. In the U.S.A., the strategy begins with $11.99/ month for a person. On the other hand, if you want to get the Duo plan, then it will begin with $16.99/ month, and taking the Family plan can be far more pricey.

If you still have any kind of confusion about it and are unable to discover such plans or wish to know a lot more, then you can click the web link above and be familiar with everything.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been trying to learn how to use GarageBand on my iPhone and iPad using VoiceOver. Yesterday I did a test recording from BackPack Studio into GarageBand via GarageBand's InterApp Audio feature. I had to press Record in GarageBand by double-tapping on the screen, then switch over to BackPack Studio via the app switcher, and then start playing the track I wanted to record. Then once the track was done, I had to go back into GarageBand using the app switcher and double-tap to stop the recording. Naturally, there's a lot of dead air at the beginning and the end of the recording, which I want to get rid of. How do I go about trimming off the dead air at the beginning and the end of the recording using VoiceOver? If one of you could please provide a detailed audio tutorial or step-by-step written tutorial on how to do this, I would be most grateful. I want to be able to export the track to a ringtone, and it won't let me do so by importing the audio file as I used to be able to do, so my only other option is re-recording it from a third-party interop Audio app. Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac anymore, so I'm having to work with what I have, i.e. the iPhone and the iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance to anyone who could shed some light.

Hey, virgin to posting , but not to reading. I have some questions and issues ... I’m sure I’ll get corrected where and what I should post before any proper answers or any resolve, it’s expected. I’m an older person who comes from a physical world of recording and producing music. Back when you had to pay someone for their investment in hardware and expertise. Now I see ppl bitching about the extremely low cost of plugins and what not in the iPad rebellion from the evil pc/Mac daw empire. Recording is a new attempt as a hobby and not trying to be a know it all. I’m used to playing writing music on real physical instruments. Yeah they exist my friends. 😂 Anyways , now anyone can label themselves a producer , song creator , artist or what not. If I hear workflow I’m gonna puke btw..... fancy trend setting words dosnt make one more elite. I guess workers at McDonald’s have “ work flow “ huh . I’ll stop at the stupidity of all that. Why isn’t beatmaker & Cubasis integrated ? Hell AUM is a pain in the ass and is yet another chance for something to go wrong. Does Cubasis and beatmaker hate each other ? Is it like apple vs Microsoft ? Beatmaker shows up as an inter app in Cubasis , but never works. Much like selected others. There’s a Jerry rig way to use beatmaker AUM and Cubasis , but gawd getting everything to match up seems like a nightmare. Still young to the virtual world of recording audio , I know my presonus artist daw has both in one. Impact is like a beatmaker vst right into the main day and breaking up the tracks. I’ve searched and searched can’t find any answers which means no good for me. Yes I know this isn’t a real daw world , and I should be aware of it. Yes ppl love and worship the simplicity and limitations of Ableton. Not everything is about being a bathroom producer musician etc. I’ve read a lot of shit and how ppl rave beatmaker and hate Cubasis or the other way. Auria kinda just said screw everyone. FL is a freaking joke. Apple lovers run into higher echelons of issues. But seriously why won’t Cubasis and beatmaker freaking integrate together? Seems like an easy fix. I love the iPad world and what it offers ... I’m on your side , we should be advancing from keys , desktops and overheating overpriced laptops. Just bought a 1500 iPad Pro a few months ago and just recently a new iPad Air 3. Hell the plugins are cheap and I wish there was more. Just compare the price of the Blackhole app vs the pc/Mac plugin. 200$ I believe. Having beatmaker 3 , AUM, Cubasis ... then staring at Cubasis hitting record then bouncing to beatmaker all through AUM . Going back to Cubasis to stop the recording and hopefully chopping it down , then trying to sync other audio tracks. All yet in time and not including guitar , drums vocals etc. wtf ! Both developers should just come together and link their products together. For both have high value. I’m sure most don’t mind taking 8 to 16 tracks and bouncing them down to one and calling it a song. I guess I’ll just buy a break out cable and use my interface to record from one iPad and controller into another. The only value I see is that I can grab a few synths at a fraction of the cost vs buying the expensive pc Mac vst. Well I’m done and I value your hatred for under appreciated users who love not having control of what you create. As well don’t even freaking talk about your music production on an iPhone.... don’t even need to hear that. I’m trying to understand the lack of reality the iPad world of music and the app makers that milk us for everything we have. As well I digg Beatmaker and Cubasis as well AUM and the joy of good cheap apps that are extremely limited. I love the pc\ Mac daw rebellion. Why do you think I bought two new iPads and extra gear cables etc. probably would have been cheaper to upgrade my studio one artist to pro. Well this will either get ignored or hated , don’t matter I’ll still post video about the real issues in this fake fur world. Looking forward to real replies.

Hey guys,

I was wondering how you use borderlands granular with BM3. I love borderlands granular, and I would love to be able to use it in BM, but I don't think that's possible?

I mainly want to record loops in borderlands granular to the tempo of my beat in BM3.

Does anyone know of a solution?

Thanks in advance!

I have a bank with drum sounds and a few AU audio fx plugins. I want to modulate some of the AU parameters with Rozeta LFO. But the moment I load the midi AU the sound stops, and I haven’t found a way getting it to work.

Is this even possible? I know midi AU isn’t quite finished at the moment in BM3, but still - is it really that broken?
