808 Science

808 Science is a production-ready collection of exclusive samples from the iconic 808 drum machine.

The pack includes 4 punchy, warm, analog drum kits and 6 multi-sampled bass / bassdrum instrument banks, all recorded from an original 808.

DR01 and DR02 are 2 classic 808 kits fed into some NEVE 1073 and API pres.We have then treated the audio with an Elysia Karacter and Thermionic Culture Vulture.

DR03 and DR04 are two modern 808 kits: we recorded them on a SSL stereo compressor and added the Elysia NVelope in the mix to keep them snappy.

The pack includes also 6 banks of 808 multi-sampled kicks / bassdrums / basses, carefully recorded with sound design in mind.

All banks feature 8 pre-programmed MACROS as well as a series of MIDI patterns, each labelled with key and tempo (BPM), to be used as source of inspiration.
