Is Beatmaker too complicated/advanced for a complete
newcomer to the whole music production thing? And when I say newcomer, I mean I've NEVER created a beat before.
Sorry if this is too general a question but what I'm trying to ask is, can I enjoy this app as somebody who just wants to play around with it and develop skills, while making my own beats???
Will I be overwhelmed? If you would think so, tell me now so I don't waste $20 on it. As it is, it really interests me and it looks cool.
Thanks

Long answer: DO you know anyone w beatmaker? Ask them to let you mess around w it for an hour or so if you do. If not then think about it like this, your spending 20 bucks on an applicatio that at the very least allows you to kill some down time pressing some cool buttons that make noises. And at the utmost has the potential to be a mobile creation suite capable of providing music and inspiration to an exponential number of users/listeners. Either way sure fire.
Everyone starts somewhere when starting to produce.
Beat Maker allows you to get complicated or simple it's up to you.
I say purchase it and go to YouTube for tutorials or watch before you buy.
If you do you will be making good beats with a little practice.
