So I recently found this old puka shell necklace I used to wear back in high school — total 2000s beach vibe, lol. I used to live near the coast and basically wore it every day, rain or shine. Now I’m debating if I can still pull it off as an adult or if it just screams “teen surfer phase.” 😅 Anyone here still wear them or found updated versions that don’t feel so... dated?

    I actually started wearing one again last summer! My wife spotted a bunch of newer styles online that looked way less chunky than the ones we wore back in the day.     Funny timing — I was just at a street market last weekend and noticed how many people were mixing old accessories into new looks. Like one guy had a tank top, linen pants, and this super retro necklace, and somehow it all worked. I guess if it feels natural to you, that’s what really matters. Trends are weird like that — they disappear for years and then sneak back in when no one expects it.
