Sinevibes sound expansions for BeatMaker

edited October 2009 in General
Hello all!

As previously announced, we have developed new "sound expansion" kits for the BeatMaker, with 100% original sounds.
In the past 40 years, music production has evolved enormously, and the latest great step in this evolution is the BeatMaker running on Apple’s astonishing iPhone and iPod touch. What used to be available only to high-profile studios just a few decades ago can now fit into your pocket – never before making music was so amazing and so accessible. However, it’s not only the technologies that allow people to bring their musical ideas to life anywhere they go: they obviously need high-quality and original sound materials to start with.

The BeatMaker Sound Expansions from Sinevibes deliver exactly that: a wide variety of fresh and unique instruments, loops and kits for modern electronic music styles. Now, you can instantly turn your mobile device into a full-blown, professional music workstation, with quick access to all sounds you need no matter when and where inspiration strikes.

Three sound expansions are available:

- Bass: includes analog and digital synth bass sounds. Contents: 25 multisampled instruments, 100 individual samples.

- Rhythm: includes kicks, snares, claps, hats, drums, toms, shakers, hats, scratches, glitches, noises, lo-fi sounds, acoustic percussion, vocoder, special effects, etc. Contents: 18 rhythm kits, 20 loops, 204 individual samples.

- Synth: includes synth sounds, bells, hits and chords. Contents: 10 multisampled instruments, 30 single sounds, 70 individual samples.

Here is a link to the audio demo:

This was done using only sounds from these expansions, and no further editing or processing.

You can download the user manual with sound list and read about all other details at the Sinevibes website:

  • I'll have to try them out, the demos sound good!!!
  • Thanks, I am very glad to hear you liked the demo! It's kind of hard to showcase everything that's inside, though, I hope to put a few more example tracks later on. Oh yes, and I encourage everyone to contact us and express what they wish to have in either existing packages (free updates) or in new ones.

Ok... Any Beatmaker with even a little bit of skill and creativity should, and is making their own kits using Beatpack, A FREE PROGRAM. There are Terabytes worth of free samples on the Internet, needing only a search engine to be found. Why would someone pay for premade kits? The only people that would allow someone to pick their raw materials for them are those that see Beatmaker as a toy, and we all know there are tens if not hundreds of "toy" apps that are designed for the non-musician to wow their friends at "the party". I think your wasting your time with this one bud. I'm sure the makers of Looptastic, or Playathang are looking for new loops to add bulk to their in-app purchase selections. It's just cheesy using the intua forum as a way of advertising your "product". Which product is that? You know, the one that anyone with a wifi network and some basic drag and drop skills can duplicate effortlessly. Make money the way the rest of us do...work for it. <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_surprised.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o -->
  • Oh yes, of course you are right! It is much better to get loads of free samples off the net, which have been used by thousands of other musicians. This is exactly what real producers do, as they want to have exactly the same sounds as everyone else!

As about "earning by work", well, I am doing sound design and engineering exclusively for over 15 years, including for companies like Roland, Spectrasonics and Native Instruments. Believe me, their standards stand way beyond what you can download for free on the net... And what I have in my products is 100% original work created after years of research. And what can you be proud of, except for re-using someone else's materials? Think of it. Because downloading freeware is what 15-year-olds do. Professionals don't. Period.
