How to work BeatPack on a Mac.

I SERIOUSLY NEED TO KNOW THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS TO BE ABLE TO UPLOAD SAMPLES ONTO MY IPHONE. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE SHARED DIRECTORY AND UPLOAD DIRECTORY NEED TO BE CALLED AND EVERYTHING. I NEED TO KNOW EVERY STEP CUZ ITS REALLY FRUSTRATING ME!!!!!!!

    Hello,

    Quite simply:

    On your computer:
    1. Install BeatPack for Mac OS X: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://intua.net/downloads/BeatPack_0.91_mac.zip">http://intua.net/downloads/BeatPack_0.91_mac.zip</a><!-- m --> (check <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.intua.net/shop.html">http://www.intua.net/shop.html</a><!-- m --> for latest version)
    2. Unzip, mount the image and drop BeatPack to your Applications folder
    3. Launch BeatPack. If you have enabled the Mac OS X firewall, add BeatPack as a trusted application ( check <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://intua.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=705">viewtopic.php?f=6&t=705</a><!-- l --> )
    4. Under "Shared directory", click Browse, and select a directory containing the files you want to transfer.
    5. Under "Upload directory", click Browse, and select a directory in which BeatPack will save files sent from BeatMaker

    On your iPhone or iPod Touch:
    1. In BeatMaker, navigate to the Home screen and click the BeatPack tab (the small circular icon with arrows)
    2. You might already see your BeatPack server (something like <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3131">http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:3131</a><!-- m -->), if not, click "Add Server", and enter
    the IP address BeatPack is displaying (use the digit-only address at first)
    3. Select the server by pressing it and then press either Download or Upload. Select the files you want to download (remotely) or upload (locally).

    Remember that you also need a wifi router to create the network. If you don't have a router beatpack will not work.

    I just did this on my mac . And i see my export on my mac but i cant seem to play it . SO what am i doing wrong

    Hi every body !
    I have a little problem with my iphone 3GS 32 Go and my mac mac quad G5 ...
    i have install beatpack 0.91. On the iphone, under beatpack sympbol, i see :
    http:// 3 numbers dot 3 numbers dot 1 number dot 2 numbers :3131. it's ok for my ip address ...
    but when i seclect it and i want to upload my song, it spend 1 or 2 minutes and the message is :
    error : opération timed out
    <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->
    May be i have lost a step but i don't think really ...
    Anyboy have somes tips to help me ???

    Ps : Also this one, beatmaker is really a must application on Iphone !!!! <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P -->

    I dont know why it wont let me upload stuff from beat maker anymore on my mac . It used to let me upload my beats but it would only let me upload like 5 seconds of it . But now i cant upload anything . I see it on my computer but when i press it , it wont play . So what am i doing wrong ?

    I too can't upload from the Iphone to my Mac.
    The Beatpack wireless address showed up on the beatmaker page automatically, I have wifi working on my phone, and no firewall installed.
    Halp!

    Does this work with Snow Leopard?
