Trouble with Alcohol and Sleep

Has anyone noticed how their sleep patterns completely change after drinking alcohol, even just a little? I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep properly. It feels like I’m never rested in the mornings, and I’m starting to think alcohol might be wrecking my sleep cycle.
