Grandma's Mystery Recipe

My grandma left me a handwritten cookbook, but it's also filled with fragments of stories between the recipes. I want to digitize and organize these narrative bits separately. Is there a story viewer tool that’s good for compiling and reading personal archives like this?

  • That's a treasure. The stories between recipes are the real heirlooms.
I used a simple story viewer for my own archive of fragments https://viewverio.com/viewed-their-story-if-i-block-them/ . It's just a clean space to compile and read them. You can tag entries by person or theme—like ""Food Memories"" or ""Grandpa Stories""—so you can read all those threads separately from the recipes.
Found a tiny note in my grandma's pie crust recipe: ""Used lard. Bob swore he could taste the pig's personality."" In the viewer, tagged it ""Bob,"" ""Humor."" It lets those little moments breathe as their own stories. Perfect for what you're doing.
