Beatmaker 2 for ipad USB Audio Interface????
I'm very pleased to see the Intua guys are being active in this forum. Just wondering if you will be testing any usb audio interfaces to use with the usb connector for ipad. It would be nice if there were officially supported interfaces tested by you guys. Anyways, have an ipad on the way hope to be able to chop up some records directly on the ipad via usb interface. Looking forward to beatmaker 2 and will just say that the way you chop/slice samples will make or break every sampler.

We are following the developments of USB audio interfaces for the iPad. Hopefully good solutions will be available for use with BeatMaker 2.
Cheers,
Intua Team.
through that, you'll be able to plug many instruments into your ipad: guitars, basses, keyboards, synthesizers, violi s (thats me!) and even mics.
with that possibility... and beatmakers record function, playing your own jingles for a quick pattern is going to make things that much more interesting and open.

This one is the best
As you can see from these videos there seems to be generic support for pretty much any usb interface. In other words "it just works". That being said I would like to see some higher end usb interfaces like m-audios fast track pro tested.
if you do so, i have made a shortcut in Beatmaker.app ,in Documents Folder where the other samples located ,
i made a shortcut that point`s or let you save your Samples or Beats in the already by USB accesible DCIM (Digital Camera Images) Folder
/private/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/ ..YOUR:NEW:FOLDER.
i m not really sure but you have also set the Right`s CHMOD 077 for the new Folder and the Shortcut
