Hard to choose between several diagnostic tools

and found several options in the same price range, with almost identical specs. How do you usually decide in this situation? Is it more about brand, real-world performance, or something else?

Specs don’t mean much if the tool isn’t stable. I’d always choose something proven over something that just looks good on paper.
