App Bugs and Technical Stability

Technical issues like crashes and bugs ruin the experience even if the content is good. One user reported multiple updates in forty days and still had problems. I do not want to be a beta tester. Where can I find honest feedback about app stability, update frequency, and whether technical problems get fixed or just accumulate over time from long term users?
