Looking for a Faster Way to Save Yahoo Mail Attachments

I recently inherited a Yahoo Mail account containing years of archived business correspondence. Many of those emails include contracts, spreadsheets, and PDF documents that need to be stored locally for record-keeping.

My first plan was to manually Download Attachments from Yahoo Mail, but after a few hundred emails I realized that approach wasn't realistic. To make things worse, I occasionally encountered the yahoo mail not downloading attachments issue, which slowed everything down even further.

After digging through various discussions, I found users recommending different backup and migration tools. One name that appeared frequently was the DRS Softech Yahoo Backup Tool. Based on what I read, it seems capable of saving mailbox data and attachments without requiring users to open each email individually.

I'm curious whether anyone here has dealt with large-scale Yahoo attachment downloads. Did you rely on manual methods, browser fixes, or some type of backup utility? I'm looking for the most efficient approach that won't risk losing important files during the process.
