Cool, thanks for hooking us all up!

2 things: The files are downloading as .bmkz.zip files. When I unzip, I get a folder with the kit name. I download the folder in beatmaker and get your kit, but it doesn't act as a .bmkz; I don't get the .png photos or any info on the kit. I haven't checked out how this is all done too extensively, but I know that when I downloaded the "choices" kit from carmot it had a custom photo and some info on the kit, it looks like yours is supposed to as well.

I couldn't get the o'jays or warriors kits to download to the iPhone at all for some reason, I noticed there are spaces in between the kit names and their file extensions. Tried removing the space but still no luck, the folder on my computer's destop just looks empty when at it from my iPhone. I see it when I open the folder on my computer though, weird. Also the Raga kit didn't seem to contain any audio files.

Did you use the artificial decay in Recycle for the ELO kit? Some other's too maybe? Sounds good, would sound good on the jazz kit IMHO.

Thanks for pointing out the problem. I apologize for the technical issues. What platform and browser are you downloading from? I tested them all out on a mac downloading from Safari and they all seemed to work, but obviously that doesn't guarantee anything. I'm going to double check them now. Is anyone else having trouble downloading the files, and loading the kits?

sidenote... good ear on the ELO samples, several of the instrumental kits were chopped in Recycle. The jazz samples however, came from vinyl through a Roland SP.

EDIT: I see what you mean. Not sure why it's downloading as a zip file, but for some reason it's breaking the pack into separate elements when it unzips. I'm going to see what I can figure out. Thanks again.

I'm using a mac on safari as well. It's an Intel 8 core MP running leopard, I have a powerbook running tiger that I can check as well. The problem could certainly be on my end but I'm not sure what settings I might check on this. Let me know if you come up with anything, and I'll do the same on this end.

Thanks again for pointing out the problem. Everything should be fixed. Zip files will now open as folders containing the ".bmkz" files. Please let me know if anyone has any further problems.

Badass, I tried the O'Jays kit and everything worked as it should. If possible, would you mind explaining how you did it before and after, cause I've seen some other kits put up the first way you had the kits, and the second new way is definitely preferable. Thanks!

The first time I posted them, the links were directly to the ".bmkz" files. I wasn't zipping them, for some reason either the browser or the OS was adding the ".zip" to the end when it was downloading the file... then automatically unzipping the contents of the kit upon download. I think it's because the .bmkz is a compressed format and the OS was recognizing that and uncompressing it.

The successful method is to put the .bmkz file into a folder, then zip that folder. If anyone else has any problems downloading the kits, gimme a holler.
