How do you handle bulk PST imports into Office 365?

I’m working on a Microsoft 365 migration where there are several PST files from different users, and doing them individually seems unnecessarily time-consuming. Microsoft’s native process supports bulk PST imports, but it also involves uploading the files and creating an import mapping file, so I’m wondering what other admins use for larger migrations.

I recently came across DRS Softech PST to Office 365 Migration Tool, which supports bulk PST migration and can import PST data into an Office 365 mailbox, Public Folder, or Online Archive. It also lets you preview the PST data before starting and apply date-based or other filters, which seems useful when the PST contains years of unnecessary mail.

Another thing I liked is the option to remove duplicate emails during migration. For a project involving many PST files, avoiding repeated messages could make the cleanup afterward much easier.

Has anyone here used DRS Softech for a multi-PST Office 365 migration? I’d be interested in hearing how it handled a real-world batch rather than just a single PST.
