Metal/Alternative/Indie Drum Kit (Beat Pack)
This is a rock/indie/metal drumkit I created using samples I took from my EZ Drummer kit. Feel free to send feedback or suggestions. If you happen to make some killer tunes with it let me know! Definitely interested in hearing them! Also if you have a nice rock kit, feel free to share!

For an idea of the sound, here is a sample of a song im working on for my side project with a friend "strangling marilyn" (its a slower heavy beat, not metal, more indie/experimental/rock but you can hear part of the kit at least):

I added a guitar track on there and some midi piano, the rest is the from the beat maker kit Im sharing.
Enjoy!

Nice music project you got going.
I actually just made one shots of each hit to save them as single pads, the kit is in the post above if you want it. If you want any predefined beats from protools, all you need to do is make the beat, save it and export as WAV, then you can load that WAV into a pad. This way each pad can be a different beat or "loop" that you exported from protools. I did that as well for some things Im working on. Just select or consolidate single beats and export as a single loop from that region. You will have a single .wav of one complete beat (which may be midi or whatever). Then use Beat Pack to upload. I may take some of the pre-made beats off of ezdrummer/drumkit from hell and modify them slightly or keep them the same and make another beat pack with just metal/rock loops. Ill post here if I do. I may also make a tutorial or video of the whole process if the interest is high enough.
Now improved with double bass (32nd notes!) for that heavy(er) metal!
Also sample improvements, replacements, and corrections on decay.

Dont like that beatmaker doesnt allow 32nd notes and only does 16's? No more worries, now you can have the speeding double bass, triplets etc.!
