How is audio copy between apps meant to work?

edited February 2011 in Support
I've exported a section of my song from nanostudio to pasteboard. How do I get it into BM2. I can't seem to be able to do it. What is the process.

Assuming you have something in the pasteboard here is the full process of pasting into BM2.
1.on the BM2 homescreen you'll see a computer looking tab just left of your "current project" tab. Select it.
    2. Now select Pasteboard. Then select Import.
    * t thispoint you'll see your library. Its a very good idea to create a folder for your imports, as well apossibly organizing that with tagor folders!!
3.now select where youlike to save your sample. Name it accordingly.
    4. Your done! Now simply go to the sampler instrument to loait up <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> or you can throw in the chop lab or sample editor.

    Hope I helped.

I tried this but it doesnt show anything. BM2 says the folder is empty. I'm on a iPad if that makes any difference.
BTW, iSequence sees the audio paste just fine?

Hmm that's odd. I couldn't tell if its an iPad problem unfortunately for me lol. But you say iSequence sees it just fine...hmm...
im going to run a quick yes and see if I get the same problem. Give me a sec.

So I made a simple melody, added some drums and then mixeit down and added to pasteboard in NS. I tried importing to BM2 and it worked like a charm
im thinking you should just restat your iPad and give it another go. Don't forget to check that little addto pasteboard button like last time.
Let me know how it goes.

It's working now. I was forgetting to hit the save button in BM2. Thanks again for your help.
