Deleting insert fx

Can it be done? I have only seen an add insert effects button. Anyone know how to remove them (without telling me too hit the mute button to bypass the effect)?

    tap and hold on the effect on the homescreen. a dialogue'll come up asking you if you wanna delete it. i'm a genius.
