Collaboration effort, anyone?

edited July 2008 in General
Once the BeatPack software is up, maybe some of you would be interested in a little collaboration. Considering how small this community is right now, it might be a good time to start a dialog about this.

I'm not talking about exclusive BeatMaker-only work.... just the primary track. Once someone uploads one, it'll be fair game for any other instrumentation. I have a Roland V-Tour drum kit, an Alesis Micron Synth, and various gadgets, like Jam Sessions for the DS, with the Korg DS-10 on the way in a week.

Let's go nuts..... Mayn't we?

    Sounds good!

    And then we do an iPhone/iPod-only orchestra life act! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    Does anyone have a server they can lend to use as a shared server for beatpacks ????
    not sure how that would work.. did anyone notice which port the server has to run on? can it be a straight-up machine on the web ?

    would be sweet if someone could design a beatpack to Logic EXS instrument conversion utility !

    any programmers in the bunch ?

    I'm thinking there should be a game where we each add a bar to a song and see how it turns out. That would be an awesome collaboration.
