Beatmaker 2 Won't Open

edited March 2011 in General
Copped the app after hearing and seeing so many amazing things about it but I'm having a problem with it. Whenever I try to open it, it stays on the splash screen for about a second or two and then closes out. I'm not having this problem with any other app, and I tried reinstalling it AND downloading it again and installing it with no luck. I tried to ask a few places and people would say they thought it was a bad app but it doesn't seem like this is a common issue or anything...any idea what it could be? Dying to dig into it already

Have you updated iOS to the latest version? It does seem kinda odd that it's not starting... Have you restarted the ipad/iphone? I've noticed some apps seem to run more stable after a restart...

    Hi,

What is your device model ? BeatMaker 2 only supports devices starting iPhone 3GS and iTouch 3rd Gen 32GB.

PS: Please use the support forum for this kind of questions next time, thank you!

    Cheers,
    Intua Team.

This may sound simple, but have you restarted your device? BM2 requires most of a devices RAM focus it would seem. Also, usually when you DL a music app its a good idea to always restart your device.

I got it to work, I went to Settings>BeatMaker 2 and switched off the Memory Management (Show warnings) and now it works fine...somebody else recommended it and I didn't think it'd work but it did, that's strange thanks for all of your help though
