Does Beatmaker 2 work with Ipad2?
Hi,
This is my first post to the forum. I bought BM 2 when it came out, but I was waiting for iPad 2 and just installed it. I cant get past the start-up screen. I tried to start with a new song using the drum machine or keyboard but it crashes. I tried to load a demo tune but it crashes. I've reinstalled the app 2 x's and done several complete restarts for the iPad. I turned off push notifications just in case, and 0 apps are running in the background when I launch BM 2. I didn't see the solution/fix in the manual or on the forum.
Am I missing something, or is the program not running on the iPad 2? Thanks for any help re: this that you can give. I'm ready to get started and this is frustrating start!

The promised iPad update - "coming soon" is still coming and probably will be "coming soon" for the few more months to come <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->
PS; did I mentioned NO CORE MIDI support in BM2?!
I hope this doesn't drag on and on. BM2 looks great and I'm ready to dig in! The main reason I got the iPad 2 was for music apps. Fortunately, I'm kind of a music app junkie, so I'll have to keep busy with my other apps for now.
You too?!! Lol. I have not heard a word since I received an email promising a beta copy last week. Like I said in my original post, Intua is in a tough position with this one. The US launch of the Ipad 2 saw sales of over a million units before selling out. That is a lot of potential new customers who cannot currently use their software and a lot of existing customers such as us who can't use software we have already paid for.
The one good thing for me is that I started learning more about Nanostudio's features and it is rock solid on all IOS devices. The upcoming updates will make it even better. Their developer is very responsive and active on their forums. That is good news for all of us. Competition is indeed a healthy thing:)
For cratedigging sampleheads such as me, Beatmaker 2 is a dream come true!

If I have to wait till summer or beyond imma be pissed.
The iPad 2 issue has been addressed and a critical update is being sent to Apple. It will hopefully be available in a few days.
Thank you for your patience,
Intua Team.
The 2.0.1 update is now available. It fixes the iPad 2 problem as well as other issues:

Cheers,
Intua Team.
Looking forward to native iPad version (even if it doesn't have any new features). I don't have the best eyesight, and using 2x for apps always makes me work a little harder.
Intua, you kicked A** with this new version of BM!
Getting ready to try out the update!
Looking forward to better resonant filters...(hint)
Additional effects with a tidbit deeper control
Maybe some formant/pitch/time on the keyboard
Keyboard sampler having a few more synth parameters
And a piece of software that works better than filezilla, cuz that sucks butt.
And some magic apple velocity???
Core midi for my soon coming studiodock pro
Thats all ya need and its a wrap...
