help!!! sample issue

is there a way to just change the start point of a sample without slicing it? I can't seem to do it. All i wanna do is cue the sample to a specific point without destructively slicing it or having to create another version of the same sample (a sliced version). i did this all the time in BM1, maybe I'm missing something?

    yeah, i posed the same question at first. unfortunately, they totally dropped the non-destructive editing. you have to save to trim the sample ans save as.. kinda sucks.
    i've heard of talk of them bringing back non-destructive though. **HINT**
